Nice. You must have had a good long stretch of road to max out like that.

Well, that's what was "indicated" anyway. Regardless, you must not have the electronic nanny that we have in the states limiting us to a max 158 mph. Although I can't say I know that's even for sure since I never actually been there. I ran out of straightaway at an indicated 156 and had to let up. The mags all say 158 is the limit anyway.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did the uprev tune cost you? I am looking to do it in Boston area. Also does it void factory warranty? I am close to 70K on my 2008 G35xS and I have extended bumper to bumper warranty that is covered until 100K.

If you notice in the video, it takes 10 or 11 seconds to go from 150 to 160. Even at a starting speed of 150, you are covering 220 ft.per second, which means it took about a 1/2 mile to progress from150 to 160, and this is where the difficulty comes in; unless you have a really long straight section of road/track, it's quite hard to get up to those speeds considering you had to get clear up to 150 BEFORE that 1/2 mile stretch.

And again, that's INDICATED speed.

So are 30, 70 & 100mph on the speedometer. They indicate the current speed of the vehicle.
Do you think these guys put on smaller tires or re-calibrated the speedo?

no, no, no . . . I'm just referring to the inherent error in speedos. They are usually at least a few percent off, often more, they aren't necessarily linear (ie. could have greater error at the extremes), and they almost always error to the positive. I'm not saying the numbers aren't impressive, just that they are not "absolute" based merely on a indicated speedo reading.

I agree 100%. I just wanted to here you say it
Fwiw, when I had my 07X it would always read lower (non-linear) by 4 to 9 km/h at 60 and 120km/h respectively. My 11S seems to be within 1km/h. I base my personal findings on moderate GPS equipment and a few radar speed signs.
