Is there a tutorial for removing the door handle bezel for replacement?

Is there a tutorial for removing the door handle bezel for replacement?

My 2007 door handle bezels/trim are all scuffed up like so many others. I purchased some replacements. Is there s DIY video or tutorial that shows how to remove and replace this part in the door?

I thought there was one but I cannot find it now.

don't know if the sedan was the same. but on the bottom.. there should be a hole where you could slide a flat head sd in there. stick it in and pull?

wrap a small flat screwdriver in cloth and start at the bottom of the bezel and carefully pry up. Careful not to bend or scar the plastic on the trim or door.

So....just wedge a small screwdriver around the edge and gently pry it up? Will that release the tabs that secure it in place?

Yes, It doesnt have to be a screwdriver, but something similar. Go slow, use some light force and careful on all the edges. Then depending whether or not you are replacing the controls or not, you will unplug the connector for the controls, then use a flathead to pry off the tabs holding the controls to the bezel. pretty easy.

Yup. It comes up easily once you start and be sure and use a thin cloth wrapped around the screwdriver so you don't damage the part that's staying behind. FYI - The main clip holding it in place is toward the front. I just did mine and the door handles were a piece of cake.

Thanks everyone. I just completed the job. Much easier than I thought after you described the procedure to me. Thanks to forum members I was able to save money by doing this job and changing the cabin filter.

another tip is that you should start in the back corner near where the trim meets the door+leather rest pad
