Anyone have +50 offset wheels on their G sedan?

I'm looking at buying some 18 x 8 Maxima wheels for my G sedan.

I know they'll fit but, worried with the 50 offset that they'll stick outside the front fender?

Thanks

50 offsets are more sunken in if I'm not mistaken. You will need spacers!

The stock sport wheels are 18x8.5 +50 in the rear.

Oh, I think you're right. I was thinking it was the other way around. So it seems like a 40 offset on a 8" wide wheel would be more ideal?

Yes, Mish is correct. As the positive (+) offset # goes up (+50), the rim sits further in the wheel well. When the positive offset # goes down (+20) the further the rim sticks out the wheel well. Also 0 (zero) and - offset #'s you will need flares the keep the wheels tucked

They will fit almost identical to the stock 17" rims you have, only 1 mm difference in how far it sticks out towards the fender. No issues at all.

Wheels with that offset could be dangerous on the front end allowing the wheel to make contact with the suspension going thru turns....been there! Wheel hits the suspension and jerks the steering wheel out of your hands. Pass on these wheels, they're not for you....Gary

I finally bought my wheels!

Got a great deal on 17" G Coupe staggered wheels - I like the more aggressive offset and wider tire size
