Not to be a d**k, but what's the point? Are you drag racing or something ? . . . what possible difference do you hope this will make in your driving of the car?

If it's just for bragging rights, why not go all out with a carbon fiber shaft?

Aluminum is cheaper then cf and for those that looking to free up HP this is the best way to go.

Well of course aluminum is cheaper, but if this is truly the best way to go for those looking to free up HP, then why stop at aluminum?

Look, the concept is totally valid, it's just that the net result you will realize is negligible for cars such as our G, which is a heavy car with good HP to begin with. If this were on some little, lightweight, under-powered car like a Miata or something, then yeah, you might have a gain worth pursuing. The most benefit you will ever get from it will be for the first 60' of a launch, and even that would be miniscule at best. This was why I asked if you intended to drag race, because beyond that, I really doubt you'd ever be able to tell a difference . . . SO . . . if it really is just to be able to say you have one, then I'm back to asking why not go all the way and get a CF shaft?

I am just looking to have fun w/ the extra power that i can gain. I am not looking to drag race or have a debate or it. 1st gen Gs that have it noticed the difference. So if you want one then say so.

I have read that you do feel a difference. The before and after dyno on the 1st gen was 15HP that it free up to the wheels. I think it will do better on the 2nd Gen. I already have a before dyno on my car and once this is on my car ill go back in for my final reading.

That's equivalent to a lightened flywheel. Are you aware that Z's already have these?

Intakes give you approx 0hp. So yes, you will feel 0hp.

It moves the powerband foreward. Doesn't add peak power, thus your hp will increase, but not peak hp.

Everyone wants a miracle mod...
