Top Speed exhaust. Better with Y pipe?

So I have TopSpeed on my 08 sedan and love the sound... yea the tips are slightly jagged but the sound more than makes up for it. So my question is WILL it sound or perform noticably better/deeper/etc with say a Megan Y pipe? Or will there be little to no difference?

I've done a bit of research on this and from all I've gathered the Y-pipe seems to have the smallest effect on the overall exhaust performance/sound. Much better to invest that money in HFCs or test pipes.

Thanks. I live in CA and really don't want to risk a $10k ticket with those that's why I took off the test pipes... But I found a local used one for cheap so I'll try it anyways and will have to let you know.

Any update? I didn't see a Y-Pipe for our cars on Megan's website. Did you pick one up for a G37x?

So I had it on for a little while now. It made the exhaust sound deeper. I feel like it made a good sound better.
