Mechanical Key Problems

Hi,

I seem to be unable to unlock my doors with the mechanical key on a 08 G35X sedan. However, if I hold the key to the right the windows do open. Anybody have the same problem and any solutions?

Do the push button on the both doors work? That would rule out the lock solenoid and imply the problem is the key lock.

Yes, push button works. I tried the mechanical key just to see if it works since my IKey battery was low. Like I mentioned, if I hold the key to one direction, the windows do open.
