Most obvious answer if your car needs a jump...your car battery died.

If you left your key fob in the hole too long your car battery will start draining to connect with that key fob.

IDK, but I'm guessing you either need to look in the mirror or stop trolling.

If your alternator is dead, you can do a simple test. While your car is on, turn on the headlights. While the car is in park, and you press the accelerator button and the headlights change intensity then your alternator is dead.

You can also remove the negative terminal while the car is running. If the car dies, then your alternator is bad.

If you need to jumpstart your car that means your battery is bad. Based on your story, it definitely sounds like a battery.

NO, NO, NO . . . DO NOT DO THIS !!!

You can damage your car's electrical system by doing that. It was a valid practice in much older cars, but pretty much any newer car will loose proper voltage regulation and potentailly fry something expensive, like the ECU.

Haha, sorry for my typo. Don't follow my advice. I don't want your car to have a damaged ECU with a neg. terminal gone.

Sadly, considering it's a DBW setup, it's actually not terribly far from the truth.
