Worst morning ever...

So I had a meeting today at 11am in Bayridge and i live about 30 minutes away from the meeting. I woke up at 9am thinking i had plenty of time to drive to my coworkers house and pick him up to go to the meeting at 11am. (we work together and commute together to our office in Chelsea, one day we take my G35x 2008 blue slate, and one day his 09 maxima). So i got ready and am out the door by 9:30am. i go to start the car and start pulling out of my driveway only to realize right away that the car is leaning on one side, so i immediately stop , and check to see what's wrong and i see that there is a flat on the right front tire. Didnt even bother to jack it up and check, but just reversed back slowly and parked it. I felt so bad and thought that i probably ran over a nail when i parked it last night because we have construction workers working on our house next door in the driveway. Upon closer inspection and hovering over the tire thinking *just my luck*. I notice 2 long scratches on the hood and fender (I got keyed!!!)

Now i was really agitated and thought how can i get a flat and get keyed at the same time!! so i forget about it because i had to be in bay ridge by 11am! it was already 9:50am. So i call my friend to bring his car to pick me up and we both forgot that he left his keys in my car last night. So i had my construction guy drive me to my friend and left to the meeting.

Last night we took my car , so i parked on the corner of a busy intersection on 8th ave and w 18th in chelsea and i think thats where i got the small scratch on the rear right tire and thought that maybe it was the same person. But when i left work, the tire wasnt slashed, so i know it was done overnight when parked at my driveway.

As soon as i got home tonight, i checked my car's flat and noticed in detail that it was actually slashed! I have surveillance on my front porch so i am currently looking through the recording to see what happened. This is the 3rd incident so far. the first one was about a year ago where our van was slashed in the same driveway. The second one was this summer and someone twisted our SUVS rear wiper and now this last night. WE filed a police report on the 2nd incident and will file another tomorrow morning. Dont know if i can hide the scratch with paint pen and you can feel the scratch with your nail

I am soo pissed off and hope i catch this person whoever it is sorry for the long post but just wanted to see if there is anything else i should do. I know i need a new tire but what can i do about the keyed areas?

Yeah, i guess OP should've picked a different day to post...maybe if we all concentrate on the unfortunate event in CT today it will help solve the crime..

You can try paint pen and some clear to get the scratch out, but it would prob be easier to take it to a body shop and have them fix it.

Just heard about what happened in Connecticut, and i thought i had a tough day. I should have waited, but my prayers go out to all those innocent children.

If the scratches aren't too deep you should be able to buff them out

Its all good, I was just messing. But it does put things into perspective a little when we think of our own problems. It did for me.
There are a lot of stupid and horrible people out there, as confirmed by today's incident. Sorry you had to run into one of them.

Yea def. People are having much more problems and am thankful for having my life.

I posted this on youtube, i got a video link of the incident that recorded the whole thing. Video Starts with the suspect walking across the street , and then less then a minute later, comes back from my side of the sidewalk and then takes out their anger on the car.

that looks like a woman. Woman or not if I ever caught anyone doing that to my car, I honestly will probably do some jail time for assault and battery. I would beat them to a pulp. **** like that just pisses me off. People work hard to buy what they've got. To have someone steal or purposely damage your stuff is simply insulting to me.
