Motor / Engine Mounts G35 Sport

I am looking at replacing the two front motor mounts due to failure (inspected and confirmed faulty). Various online autopart stores list the motor mount compatibility as ranging from 2003-2008 but Infiniti parts states that the mounts made for my car is for 2007-2008 only. Could someone confirm? FYI Trans mount is intact.

Thanks in advance

After a brief inspection, I found that my motor mounts were fine. After a paid diagnostic, Discount Tire claims that the suspension is tight. The car continues to make a knocking sound on hard acceleration.

I guess I'm confused now. SO, are your mounts bad or not? You said they were confirmed faulty, and then you said after an inspection they were fine! ??

IMHO, I would not regard the 'mechanics' at a Discount Tire store to be a credible troubeshooting force.

I feel that mine are not in the best of condition at almost 96K miles. I can feel A LOT of drivetrain movement when the car shifts and especially when going over speed bumps etc. Ive never had them checked yet though.

I believe they are hydraulic, so they may look OK but still be significantly weaker and have more movement than stock due to possibly leaking out over time.

I would inspect the transmission mount and all driveline components/bushings as well.

The motor mounts were not bad. It was my assumption and we all know what happens when one assumes [**** u me].
Correction - It was Tires Plus and not Discount Tire as originally stated that claimed to have diagnosed my car looking past the obvious signs (inner tire wear drivers side).

Conclusion - inner and outter tie rod on driver side.
Diagnostic - put car on jack stands and removed front tires. Grabbed tie rod with bare hand and drivers side moved freely with no resistance [same side as inner tire wear]. Passenger side was slightly stiff and required force to wiggle.

For sale 1x used motor mount from ebay $75

Update

Just wanted give a little update. Installed a Moog inner and outer tie rod set along with an alignment. Once the worn driver side tire was replaced, the front end was solid and the knocking sound was eliminated.
