head unit upgrade?

hey guys.. i have a 2007 g35x without nav. just a few questions. are there any head unit upgrades out there? if there are, does anyone have pics of how they look? i know there are all the buttons below the screen so i don't know how stupid it will look. also, with stock radio how can i get my ipod to work.. i don't understand what the aux cables are for in my console. last question, how can i get nav in my screen?

thanks so much!!

Lets' start w/ the nav 1st. To upgrade that would be maybe around 3k. Not sure just throwing out numbers. If you have a phone that can do it that will be money saved. Or you can just go to best buy or radio shack and get one for a couple hundred bucks.

When my Brother was driving and using his GPS on his phone his phone would not get service in one area. If you want you can always get the Thomas Guide GPS.

When I had my non-nav 07x I looked into this quite a bit. As mentioned, going with OEM will cost a small fortune and won't be easy either.

My buddy just bought an iPad mini with internet and is putting a removable stand for it. The internet allows him to use different internet radio services along with nav. I have Nav so I don't know how your aux cables are... but if you have an aux cable input you can hook almost anything to it. You could also purchase a cable that will plug into the bottom of your iPod, then the cable leads into the aux and power instead of having to plug in your iPod in the top and bottom- That is similar to what I did.
