Greddy

Got a pretty simple question for some of the v36 guys. Can the Greddy cold air intake work for our cars even if it says its for a G37 or if there is anyone that has done this it would highly useful. I am thinking about getting it but the fitment has had me going back and forth weather I should get it or not. I know the Stillen and the Takeda are the same kind of set up and work worth for both the g35/ g37.
Any help would be amazing.

As far as I can tell it should. When I bought R2C intake it didn't requiring modding nor did it come with any special adapters. I didn't even know that Greddy made an intake for our cars. You should post pics or more info about this intake system.

I will tell you this though. Our cars have a single throttle body with one intake. G37 and 370z have dual throttle body. So they use 2 intakes. That's what's shown in that pic

Please make sure you know what you are talking about before you make yourself look foolish. The second gen G35s have dual intakes with 2 throttle bodies. SMH.........

Took the words right out of my mouth. In the pic, the Greddy decals look photochopped on there.

Hmm, so exactly WHEN did "our cars" become synonymous with the "de" engine? . . . in the V36 Sedan section, no less!

so as a final result it does fit perfectly. It sounds immaculate and the power isn't much of a difference. But the flaws is that i don't know if it needs to be broken in or something cause there is a really annoying high pitched whistle coming from the filter and the install is a joke its easy but there is just little tricks if you didn't know it would completely screw you over hard. like put all of the clamps on the rubber pieces before putting the pipes in. But over all I completely adore this intake and so do all my "DE" friends and it makes them jealous.

That is a nice splash shield. Unless the Takeda includes one now, worth the price to get the Greddy. Also, with these intakes most of the gains are in a narrow range over 6k rpm to redline.
