I know the trend is to DEbadge, but...

I've never been a fan of the stock "s" font..always thought it was a bit too sedate.

[no type-r badging here, yes, I removed my stock s to put this one on ]

Yes, I know I'll get flamed / derided / etc for this, but I thought it was time to give it a little more personality.

nomex on...

Well...its certainly hard to miss that giant S now, I will give you that.

I don't think its really a "trend" to debadge, its just a personal preference. I preferred my badges on and dipped in black. I would still be running like that but I swapped trunks for one with a spoiler that was already debadged and I am not going to try to get them back on properly.

it's actually really easy to get them back on, presuming you buy a new set; they come from infiniti with a piece of pre-cut styrofoam, already with the correct spacing. peel off the backing, and stick right on.

My laziness and lack of caring outweighs my desire to have them back on

haha - i know this is pure cheese. Since my car is largely blacked out, though, it somehow seems to work - i'll allow myself one fit of whimsy.

not a corolla emblem, but not a bad guess...

FWIW, I posted this largely tongue-in-cheek. It's like I'm 17 again with my MR2... but, hey, the car is Japanese. We're allowed some sort of margin for rice error. De-chroming my front grille allowed me some rice points back to spend on something tacky, right?

It does seem like it is too big, but I'm sure everyone on here has experimented with something on our G that we would get flamed over!

Mine was having the sunroof wind deflector. Not a popular mod....

IMO just the Mt Fuji logo back there looks clean and trying to detail & remove wax from the other lettering is a PITA. But if you're liking it that's who's paying the bills

To each their own. I like mine de-baged simply to make waxing the trunk lid easier, yes I am that lazy. Also, is that a MiniCooper "S"?
