I recently installed Takeda Dual intakes and im hearing a loud pitch sound in the engine bay when the car is idling, anyone know what might be causing this ?

^ whs if what youre hearing a constant loud pitched sound of the intake taking in air after installing SRI then you should know that its common with most SRI with open front filter design

ok, so if it went away, then you need to describe the sound a bit better, because an intake sound won't change like that, so it most likely is something else. Is your serpentine belt slipping, AC clutch acting up, or one of the various pulley bearings starting to make noise?

Just a heads up, i got mine at about 100k on my sedan, *the sound that is* I had the serpentine belt and tensioner done and it went away. FYI at the time, my mechanic had told me that the belt had stretched alot and was on it's last legs, even though it looked fine. Its about 300$ for the service
