Have any of you with 08 sedans maybe even older or newer had your drivers door armrest break? I was on my way home today put my arm on it and heard a weird popping/cracking noise, i started to feel the padding between the drivers and pass side and found that the plastic under the leather broke, WTF? just curious if my car doesnt want to go to miami, or infiniti's start to fall apart around 80k miles.

 

Nope, never heard of anything like that happening, nor does mine (at 72K) feel even remotely weak or fatigued. I wonder if your door panel has gotten wet repeatedly, causing the substrate to lose its structural integrity or something.

 

It has never gotten that wet in the time i have had it. I do my best to take car of the car keep everything clean. Who knows maybe its time for a Q50.
