Question OEM & Aftermarket Parts info

I have a black 07 sport sedan I work hard to keep in great shape. Two days ago a box flew out of the back of a pickup and messed up my front bumper cover, right headlight and my grill. I'm looking for information on where to find and buy:

-gunmetal or black chrome front grill
-right headlight assembly
-and any information on getting my sport rims dipped in black chrome or painted gunmetal.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you valued members of the community!! =)

I have my 08 black sedan and both my wheels and grill are plastidipped black. It looks pretty good. The only thing I'm going to do is redip my wheels in the spring because the snow conditions are peeling them off. I also might add a gloss coat to the wheels because the black plastidip

The black plastidip fades away and the gloss might help it last longer. I would browse around on eBay for the headlight. My post got cut in half due to my phone. Good luck

I had my wheels powder coated gunmetal gray. It ran about $100 per wheel and professionally done, looks OEM. Find a wheel repair shop locally. The one that did mine is now bought out by the Dent Wizard but still does the wheel work as well.

thanks for the info guys. i think i've narrowed it down to getting the wheels powder coated to resemble "black chrome" but now i'm left with the question of how best to do the emblems.

being that the emblems are plastic, i can't powder coat them. do you guys know a good alternative for the emblems and grille? i don't want to powder coat the rims and then the grille and emblems aren't close to matching.

best bet it to either take em off the car or buy a new set then have them professionally painted or try it yourself with some really glossy paint

here are some emblems for sale or you can ask him how he got em done

Did you catch the plate number and call the police? For something like that, their insurance should pay for the damages.

I took off all emblems but Mt. Juji, plastidipped that as well as the little chrome spoiler-looking trunk extension. The flat black details look really good on my OB trunk. I will also plasti my grille when I get the chance. Best $12 you can spend.

i'm going to use the duplicolor "shadow" product and paint the emblems and front grille. we'll see how it turns out.

You should try to push your insurance company to file it as a comprehensive claim, not a collision claim.

I am aware of the difference and indeed it was filed as comprehensive, but thanks for the heads up. A lot of people aren't aware of the differences.
