engine turns off at slow speeds
i found one on amazon for $9, but I’m not sure a new PCV Valve will fix the problem. It may be worth a shot. If it works out for you let me know. I cleaned the throttle body and changed the MAF sensor a while back, and the problem returned 6 months later. This method seems to be a temporary fix. I hope the PCV valve is the problem. I drive my g35 daily and if I hit the throttle any lower than 1200 RPM’s, or reverse it will shut off.
I've been having this exact same issue with my 2008 g35x. I've took it to mechanics and they couldn't find an issue. It shuts off all the time at low speeds and especially when I'm slowly turning. Have you had the same issues after doing what you did? Thanks
Test your battery if your battery is good take it to the dealer to get a ecu tmp update my g35x had the same issue cost about $180 he of labor to update that fixed my issue.
With the vehicle parked, engine running, turn the steering wheel. Does engine rpm drop substantially?
Sounds like the power steering pressure switch is crapping out. Take it to Nissan for a diagnostic if the battery passes a load bank test.
The PSPS allows the ECU to increase idle as the steering wheel is turned (which is a substantial load on the motor).
