what is the difference between the v36 g35 and 37 navigation system / UI and is there any way to make the g35's like theirs (ie more stream lined look and feel and better graphics)? does it come with the map upgrade???

2010+ got clearer display but the processor was never updated, so it's slower than the 07-09's...

Anything is possible... Just how much will it cost?

There is alot different. Anything is possible with enough money. Odds are you lack the knowledge and money to pull it off.

You can still update the map on '07 - '08 navi which is about $150 I think.

There are a lot of things needed to be changed if you want to do the swap, and you have to do your whole wiring. I think I have some DYI thread somewhere ...

Not worth it. All the hundreds (or thousands) of dollars it will cost can be used elsewhere on the car.

At least one advantage for our hard drive based Navi system is that its faster than DVD.

Navigation update for our 2008 G35's is $99 for the update code, and $140 for the install...one hour labor charge.

$240 is a bit much.
