R2C functional Hood Vents

So I am getting R2C intakes and was wondering if its doable/beneficial/practical to look into cutting through the hood and installing functional vents where the heat shields connect to create sort of a Ram Air effect? Is it a crazy idea that may just work?

I would suggest designing something on paper first. Who knows you come up with a new product.

You know, that crossed my mind, but I think it is just a matter of me picking right sized vents and cutting through the hood to install them... Any application will require cutting the hood anyway...

when Infiniti designed the 2nd gen car, they already made a slight ram air effect through the stock duel intake system, I remember reading about this in late 06, when the specs of the car were starting to be released, and of course the stock system can deal with rain.....
