2007 infiniti g35s sedan 6mt clutch slave cylinder problems
First off let me say hello to all you folks in this forum, my name is Kyle Bradford I'm from tn. I bought a 07 g35s sedan 6mt last year and it's has been nothing but problems for me. I've had the clutch slave cylinder replaced two times already and went to Chicago (600) mile trip this last week and all the sudden my slave cylinder began leaking down again, so I got her on home floated the gears lol. But I can't figure out what the problem is with this car and a slave cylinder, the shop that fixed it is going to replace it again for free under warranty but can someone tell me why every two months this slave cylinder keeps going out? I don't really rag on it, it has a solid flywheel already and I used a act stock replacement clutch kit. This last time he fixed it he used a infiniti direct slave cylinder and it did a lot better than the first aftermarket did but only 4000 miles and it to blow out again is just unbelievable, any help will be greatly appreciated! Hope all of you had a great Fourth of July 😄
If the slave cylinders keep failing, it is not likely that the problem is with the slave cylinder. Perhaps the fluid is contaminated, causing premature failure of the internal cylinder seals. Have your mechanic flush out all the old fluid and have it replaced. Also use all new copper seal washers at the connections of the fluid lines.
Alright I'll tell him that, I hope this time it will last longer than two months because I absolutely love this car, just would like it to be reliable. And also is the heavy duty csc really worth $325 from z speed performance? I just want to have piece of mind that if I want to take my family on vacation I won't et stranded 600 miles from home
