It's The Little Things...
Ok, so I have thoroughly enjoyed my 2007 G35 ever since the day I bought it 2 years ago and that's after being a loyal Honda/Acura fan for many years. I have since switched my loyalty to Infiniti and rightly so. They simply make fantastic cars. In fact, I now have two of them (a 2007 G35 - my wife's and a 2007 G35S - mine). So why do I like them so much? Well, that's because I am a detailed kind of guy and for me even the little things make a difference. So I thought I'd make a list of what those "little" details are (feel free to add your own)...
These are a few of my favorite things
1) Doors that shut very softly from even 6 inches out
2) Turn signals that have a nice subtle blinking sound
3) Soft-touch buttons and controls
4) An inside handle to close the trunk without having to touch the paint
5) A/C that doesn't come on until a few seconds after car starts to avoid extra strain on the engine
6) Every cool technology feature I could have imagined back then (adaptive headlights, adaptive cruise control, auto-on headlights, voice commands, etc.)
7) Rear windows that roll all the way down
8) Rear seat controllable air vents
9) A first aid kit that tucks into a secret compartment in the rear arm rest
10) Very easy to change air filters
11) True dual exhaust
12) Being able to do everything without removing the key fob from my pocket
Of course there are just a few things that would have been extra icing on the cake:
1) Fold-down rear seats for easier carrying of large items
2) Eliminating that "drip" of water that keeps coming from the side mirrors and running down the doors after drying off the car
3) Easier oil changes without having to remove 15 bolts from the engine shield

This is kinda dumb, but since you mentioned the turn signal thing, I gotta say one of the first things I really liked about the G is the soft click of the turn signal lever. Where on other cars its a bit harder..like a snap almost, but on the G its more of a soft click. Super small detail, but I like it.

To OP, I see what you mean. My G is my first Infiniti product and there are things that makes a lot of sense.
Additional to your OCD list:
(1) The gauages that moves with the steering wheel
(2) Rear door that opens WIDE
(3) Bigger brake on sports model
(4) There is a little patch of plastic cover on the carpet to the right of the gas paddle, which my feet sometimes some hit it when doing heel-toe. If not for that piece of plastic, I would be put wear and tear on that piece of carpet
(5) The faint-out on interior lights works (to some extend) even with aftermarket LED bulb
(6) Its a front-mid engine car
(7) The battery is on the passenger side behind the front axial for better weight balance (counter the weight of the driver)
Annoyance:
(1) Why can't I have my circulated air on fan only?
(2) Why can't I have my parking light on before the auto headlight?
(3) Why is the clutch such a handful?
(4) Wish the seat would go lower (I barely fit with my helmet on)
(5) Wish the 6th gear is a little taller since nobody would be using 6th for track or top speed run
(6) Wish the sports suspension was tuned for a square tire set up like 245 all around, just easier for tire rotation
(7) The trunk is not big with a relatively small opening (the 6-disc charger made it worse!)
(8) The better looking '07-'08 18" sports rims won't clear BBK without spacer
