Exclamation Silly power window issue?!

Hi guys, this is my first post! Nice to meet everybody

Anyway, out of nowhere I am having an issue with my driver side power window window. The auto-up/down function still works fine. However there are times where the window absolutely STRUGGLES to move at all. It makes me really nervous it's gonna just quit working one day when I'm out. It's only sometimes and I can't find any constant variables or causes. (Such as temperature)

Here is a very brief video I shot for the sake of the post:

Any ideas what to look for first??

Could be the motor burning out. Our cars are known for having weak power window motors. Other than that, check for obstructions. Perhaps something fell down inside the door and is blocking it.Open up your door and have a look

If you do open it up, get yourself some Honda "Shinetsu grease" and relube the guide channels while you're in there. That stuff can be a miracle in a tube.

I had this SAME exact issue and one of the windows actually didn't move at all because it was stuck.

I took it to a dealer and all they did was apply silicone paste on the window edges and it fixed the problem instantly. You should do this first before replacing the motor.

You can do a simple test. Spray some water on the window and on the edges or go to a car wash and see if afterwards it seems much easier for the window to go up and down.

Should be easy to fix if it's a window motor.
