Post 2008 sedan push button start issues??

Tried looking up this issue but couldn't find any answers, I have a 2008 sedan and have been noticing a delayed start with my push button start. It always starts up but I feel like it might be getting worse, it almost sounds like it doesn't want to start but it'll catch at the last minute. I'm not too familiar with the push button starts but any suggestions?

Hmm I guess that's the first thing I should've checked, I just thought it might've been something more technical but I actually haven't I'll do that and see if it does the trick. I appreciate it!

I remember seeing some threads on this before, if you go to the 'ON' position before starting your car, does it still lag? Because others were noting that if this were the case it could be the fuel pump not starting up fast enough.
