This noise I am hearing only happens at idle. It gets louder sometimes when I have the a/c on. It does come and go but like I said only seems to happen when I am idling. I replaced the belt several months ago (maybe 3-4 at the most) and all was fine up until about 2 months ago. I have heard this could be an idler pulley issue but wanted to know if anyone else had experienced this problem. Also the car seems to need to be running for a bit before you hear the noise and it roughly sounds like it's on the right side of the car. Any suggestions/solutions are greatly appreciated.

 

Could be your AC compressor pulley clutch and/or bearings.

Check your pulleys. I also suspect an issue with them.
