2007 G35x advise

Hi All, I'm new to this forum and I recently thinking of purchasing a 2007 G35x sedan with about 95k miles in it. Is there any mandatory maintenance I need to service when I purchase the car with that mileage? and what are some of the main things that I should look out for? any advise would help! Thanks!

There is a lot of information in this forum if you search -

I'm in the same boat as you with my 08 that i just got in december - although this is my 4th infiniti so i just go off of what i did to the previous ones.

Does the seller have any service records? Or have you checked the carfax report - sometimes it will show when it has been serviced and what was done.

If not, i would start with changing the fluids - oil, differentials, transfer case, coolant, brake fluid, power steering, or at least do an oil change at the dealer and they can do the multi point inspection. I usually go to the dealer if they are doing an oil change special and they've never tried to sell me any crazy services.

Check your air filters and your cabin filter. I plan on doing the spark plugs once it gets warm again. Most of this is all do it yourself stuff that i enjoy doing and then i know for sure when everything was last changed.

Spark plugs, shocks, ball joints, front end bushings, shock mounts, check your belts, coolant drain n fill, check your air filter, drain n fill tranny, differential and transfer case oil, brake fluid exchange, throttle body cleaning change your oil to an appropriate weight for your environment, top off all fluids, inspect all hoses/seals, go get an alignment.

I have an 08X and its solid. I just followed the manual and as stated make sure the fluids are changed and routine oil changes. She's solid at 83k and had it since 20k.

Check the oil pressure, go look at the thread on here about the P0011 engine code. At idle it should be 14 psi at least. It's the #1 thing to check on a 07/08 V36. The oil gallery gaskets are made of paper and it bursts eventually for all the cars no matter how light you drive them, it's only a matter of time. Repairing it is around 1-2g.
