Suspension strut models interchangeable between years?
Suspension strut models interchangeable between years?
I wanted to know if the g35 sedan 07 - g37 sedan 13 use interchangeable suspension parts? Looking online on the parts guide it seems the have different part numbers and also two variations for active steering assist options for the newer g37 models. Would it be a direct bolt on? Is there things I need to look out for? I think my struts need replacing since my car has 180k miles. They looks in GREAT condition because it is a california car and always driven in suburban areas with nice roads/freeways. No leaks or damage to it, I keep reading struts should be replaced every 60k... My family has a 00 merc e320 with 190k miles and never had suspension work and have not noticed an issues. Anyone have input?
I'm pretty sure the shocks and springs are almost identical. Every coilover I've seen for the 07+ sedans is the same in that they work for up to the '13 G37 sedans as well. Don't take this as 100% fact but from my online research I believe so.
