^ G35 got a horrible start and put up a really bad time. That being said, I rented a few Camrys over past 4 months and they were quicker off the line than I thought. Don't know how they are geared, but they'd certainly give a stock G35 a scare in a short race.

Bad start yes, but 14.92@95.59mph for the G35 is pretty average time. Most stocks run 14.5-15.0. Still the Camry ran 13.921@99.01mph. Most modified G35s are not even be able to hit 13.9.

Still even if the G was able to pull off a win.... you still beat a Camry.

Just to be clear, you are here in the V36 section yet you're referring to typical V35 times (without qualification). There are plenty of examples of bone stock V36 cars running in the mid to high 13's with trap speeds in the 102-103 range.

I was just about to point this out.

OP is in a V36. Considerably different setup than the 1st gen setup.

I'm in the IDGAFF category on this one, but at least allow us to clear up the distinction between OPs ride and a 1st gen.

Anyways, yeah I'd eat that cookie.

Pfftt.......I beat that Camry by more than 2 seconds with a V35.

To the OP, I won't call the G35 a fast car, but I think it's reasonably quick for its size and weight.

The motor is over 300hp, but its NA and has over 3600lb to move around. Also, the HR motor makes power in high rpm. So rev it up when you needs the power.

Your mpg is about right for normal driving.
