07 g35 sedan 6mt chip. Yes or No ?

I've been thinking of chipping my g35. I've been told I'd get an increase of ~50hp. Any suggestions ?

Yea the Ebay chips work. You should also get the turbonator and some stickers as well.

Although, I have my Hypertech and while it only gives you like 7hp/7tq, the 0-60 restriction removal is nice.

Ok. I will bite. You don't "chip" the car. This isn't 1998. You can get a "tune" for the ECU. Do some searching on the site. Theres a subforum dedicated to tuning. You'll find what your looking for there.

A tune will only give you a benefit if you have all the bolt-ons and even then its not much. There isn't much you can do to these motors other than forced induction.

That's what I meant. I wasn't sure if it was a chip or if the ecm can get tuned. I'm not looking to go all out on the car just increase hp for a little more output is all

Yes. Make sure you get a good brand like Dorritos. You might be able to get Cheetos to work but you definitely want to avoid Sun Chips or Lays.

Get test pipes, an intake and an exhaust and then tune your car. 20-30 whp gain probably, maybe not even. But that's a 10% gain so not bad, only thing is you'd be spending over $2k for all of that.
