Lowering springs

What do you guys recommend for like 1" or 1.5" drop

Get some Eibachs. I had Eibachs before and they were great in terms of ride quality and gave a drop somewhere between 1-1.5 inches.

If you are doing it on the cheap, 1" is what you want. Otherwise you really should get new struts/shocks, front and rear camber kits. Do the math and it really adds up. On an aging car, it may not make much sense.

imo fronts will be fine no need a camber kit. the rears are the ones to consider the kits and should be cheaper than getting the front kit
