JDM style SKYLINE badge on v36?
Okok. I'll stop here. Btw my G is bone stock and I would never put a skyline badge on mine. LOL. I just dont think it's ok for people to insult anyone was all. Let people do what they do. It's 2016. Happy New Years!
LOL NO! the only people associating a rebadged g to a skyline with "some fast and furious car" are the people who just got into modding imports (ricers)
The skyline name has a history of being a really fast car. it is what it is. So when you rebadge a car that is a skyline in Japan but is a relatively slower car here now, it just looks bad.
But like I said, what can an evo, sti, s2k owner say when your rebadged skyline is twin turbo or supercharged and can tear their car to shreds?! Not a damn thing. Just my experience.

And back to the shot about my 7 lbs on stock internals. Why would I pull and rebuild my engine for high boost when I spent good money on a mint 53k mileage 6mt?! So I should of bought a pos with 200k miles for 6k and built it? Naw I'm good with my nearly flawless g
To do things correctly.. You know..like a Man.
Its your car, do whatever you want. Ignore the haters.
The OP mentioned only putting the 'Skyline' badge, not necessarily the GTR. Putting a Skyline emblem doesn't mean your car is a GTR. You could rebadge it to the Skyline 350GT instead, which would be technically correct in JDM, Australian, and Canadian markets.

Super car status?! The original skyline was never a super car. Wasn't even considered a super car till you watched the fast and the furious. Everyone who thinks its wack to rename a g35 with a skyline badge are the ones who didn't know w t f a skyline GTR was till Paul walker made it famous. If you did your research you would know skylines come NA in coupe and sedan just like the g series. And back to the shot about my 7 lbs on stock internals. Did you just get banned on my350z (socal_vq)
This would fall under the principle of changing your Acura RSX Type-S and switching all the badges to the Honda Red "H". I did, but I didn't go as far as putting Type-R. Only reason I haven't done it with my G is because theyre expensive and I don't really care too much for the G. The red H did make the car pop more on the RSX, but honestly the Nissan logo looks cheap and I rather keep my Infiniti logo. Infiniti Skyline doesn't make sense to me and Im too OCD for mix matching like that.

This guy is either a NOOB into the car scene, or just plain ignorant. LOL
Skyline has been around since the 70s, id even say late 60s.
U should read the other thread he was active in regarding this subject. It's quite hilarious
