Adding OEM Navigation to my G35

I have a 2008 G35 "without" Nav/Backup Camera. I have the Bose Stereo & Monochrome Display. I would like to add Navigation and a backup camera and make it look as stock (if possible). So I purchased (on Ebay) a OEM Navigation/radio, OEM Touch Screen Display, OEM Navigation Radio control panel, and OEM Climate Control Panel (w/SD card slot for Nav) from a 2008 G35 that was wrecked but still worked. All components were from the same donor vehicle. I assumed if I swapped out those components I would get navigation. When I opened up the dash there were different connectors in the back of the Radio/navigation then my existing radio. Some of the connectors connected but not all of them. I tried hooking up what would still connect together and seeing if the radio/display would work but it did not. I really would have thought it would been an easy swap out. Does anyone have an ideas or information that would be helpful (schematics etc)? Thanks in advance. -Mike

From what I've read the non-nav Gs have a different dash harness than the nav equipped ones. I know this is true for 03-05 but I don't know if it's true for the newer models. Just something to consider.

Hi Jimmy. Do you know if there is any way to get around this or modify this? Thanks Mike

There is a thread on this. It's quite a project. My kenwood has a spot for a back up cam and goes on when I put it in reverse.

BTW. I did call NavTV and they no longer make the NXT54 kit to upgrade to Navigation and maintain the stock look of the vehicle. It is because Garmin decided to discontinue to Nav portion of their Kit. For this upgrade to work you needed to have a Full Color LCD Display. I only had the orange/black monchrome display so it would not have worked anyway

I also wanted to add a backup camera The NavTV kit below will work only if you have the color display. So I was out of luck again but maybe this will help others.

https://navtv.com/products/NTV-KIT18...ti-fx-kit.html
"The Nissan / Infiniti RGB kit allows the user to add up to 2 video inputs and a backup camera input to the factory media screen in select ’07-’13 Nissan and Infiniti vehicles. This kit requires connecting wires behind the radio and uses a Plug & Play harness behind the screen. The FX kit comes with an external toggle switch and forced rear camera action is an option if desired.'
