18" Infiniti wheels that looks like G37 19" wheels? 0.0

Hey guys, so I ran into this local ad of a guy selling 225/50/18 winter tires on some 18" infiniti wheels. So the tires I am fine with but the wheels I have some questions about. They look like the G37 19" wheels however they are 18", he says he got them from the infiniti dealership and when I asked for the specs on the wheels he avoided my question twice. So here is the ad: http://www.kijiji.ca/v-tires-rims/ca...-18/1180263868

Anyone recognize these 18" wheels? Thanks.

Even the advertisement he is showing says 19". Something is fishy or he is just oblivious to details.

Yes exactly! the pictures he included to prove that these wheels alone are worth 1.6g are the 19" G37 ones. But the wheels themselves are definitely 18". It fooled me at first because they look exactly the same. I don't know if these even exist or it's some sort of OEM replica that is 1 inch smaller LOL. I thought that maybe the dealers have these wheels just for their winter tires but I am suspicious at the moment unless someone has seen these...

They're definitely not the same as the 19" G37 coupe wheels. Besides being 18", the spokes are narrower, and seem to lack the flat plane on the outside edge of the spokes. These seems to be narrower and rounded on the outer surface of the spokes. I haven't seen them before, but maybe they are just something that's available to the Canadian market that we never see here in the states.

Thanks for the input guys. I figured it out, so these wheels are legit and it was actually bought from an infiniti dealership. The guy provided me with the invoice. So apparently I'm not sure if this applies to the states, but Infiniti buys their wheels from RWCWheels, and this was one of their custom wheels for just Infiniti, they are usually sold with winter tires. definitely not the OEM G37 19" wheels but everything checks out

Looks like a good setup. I have been very satisfied with the Michelin xi3's I have for winter. They are the first winter tires I've owned, so I can't really compare them to Blizzaks or Nokian Hakkapeliittas, but they are so much more capable than any "all season" tires I've driven.

I thought $1,400 was a little steep until I realized it was Canadian dollars. That seems like a pretty good deal, the tires do look brand new. I guess that is the advantage of shopping for winter tires in the middle of July haha.

Good luck!

Yea it was a good deal, I talked it down to 1175. There were just 1 spot with curb rash on 1 of the wheels with a single scratches on the back side of the tire. The scratch is about 6 inches long and not very deep on the side wall (maybe 2mm at most). I was thinking of maybe replacing just the 1 tire but I'm not too sure, personally I think it's fine?
