Hi, few months ago my infiniti dealership did tire rotation for my car which has staggered wheels.
I did not know about it until some other tire shop told that my tires are in wrong order. I tried to reach the service manager on phone, what he was in denial that their technician would do such thing. I went to shop and showed him, now he is just apologizing and offering to replace my rear tires with no labor. I just wanted to know if my car would have been damaged because of this rotation which they are not supposed to do it? Should they be doing more than just give an apology?

 

Nope no damage, I'm surprised they went as far as offering a new set of tires to be honest. The only downside of having the tires on backwards is if you hit a puddle or drive in the rain the tread pattern would be pushing water to the inside of the pattern instead of the outside.

Tread pattern is for water dispersal, rubber compound is for gripping the driving surface.

 

They offered to replace the tire with no labor charges I still have to buy the tires.
