The saga continues. Came back to the car after a large rain storm one day to find a huge puddle in my passenger footwell which caused me to pull the car apart in search for the leaks. Went from just fixing a leak to replacing the cluster LED'S, flickering clock LED'S etc. I have yet to just enjoy the car for longer than a week before working on it again. At least the only thing left to replace in the interior will be this crappy dashboard, which will be getting a dash cover for the time being.

Yep, leaks suck... are the rain diverters under the hood at the bottom of the windshield in good condition and not jam packed with leaves and stuff? It would be possible for water to drip down into the fresh air ducting directly behind the battery if it couldn't drain properly.

Yea I cleaned all that out. I found that the sunroof drain on the passenger side wasn't sealed with the body where it comes to the firewall by the A pillar. Whenever the water volume was too high, it drained into the car instead. Once I sealed that back up properly and cleaned out anything I could find under the hood/cowl area, no more leaks. Took the drivers side apart just to check also. Figured while I'm there, why not just get all these annoying flickering lights taken care of too.

Glad to see someone successfully take on the flickering cluster and clock issue. I still have that problem and it's getting worse. Do you have instructions/pics and what exactly you did to fix them? thanks.

I didn't complete the whole process myself, I had taken most of it apart and let my friend's shop complete the rest of the repair since I didn't have time during the week and wanted it done ASAP. The actual LED replacement was done by a local shop that specializes in those jobs, I didn't replace them myself either or else I'd have done some step by step instructions.

The car will be sitting at his shop on a lift till Hurricane Irma passes anyhow, since my M3, our bikes, and the wife's Explorer are taking up the garage currently. Don't want it exposed to the elements, especially after just fixing water leaks lol.

Back together, no leaks (at least right now) and seeing the whole cluster light up for the 1st time!

needs a little bit of adjusting and we're good to go

Been enjoying the car, continuously cleaning it up. The more I drive, the more I like it. Ordered up a couple simple mods. Looking for suggestions for suspension mods!

Mine is a coupe but it sits 1.5" lower in the front (rolled fenders) and 1" lower in the rear, +15/+25 wheel spacers F/R, stock size rubber, no rubbing at all and very happy with the ride height.

Also highly recommend a chrome delete!
