My 2007 G35 sedan's alarm has been going off frequently when it rains. I have read that this issue is often caused by a faulty hood sensor, but I have searched and don't believe the 2007 sedan has a hood sensor (I can't find one, in any event). The door and trunk sensors all appear dry and functional.

I'd appreciate any suggestions for finding the source of the problem or disabling the alarm. Thanks!

 

I'd look in the IPDM to make sure it isn't getting water damaged, the cover needs to be securely in place and the rainwater gutters tracks need to be kept clean or the IPDM gets wet and all hell breaks loose.
