Is there a way to copy FROM the music box to any other media?
I gave my car to my son and got a new version of the same car (G37).... All my old music is on my son's G35.... I'd like to have it all on my G37. Any solutions out there?

As far as I know you cannot. If you were willing to completely disassemble the entire head unit to access the HDD which is completely buried inside the unit then you should be able to mirror it to a PC and dig through the file structure to figure out where the music is stored. It's just a Seagate 2.5" HDD but it's not designed to be removed by the user so you're going to have to just start taking the HU apart, it also contains all the nav/bt/etc stuff in that HDD.

There is a thread somewhere out there that talks about someone or a group who figured out the password that locks the drive. I think it was the similar unit used in a Skyline. The drive is encrypted thought so no way to just mount and copy music. I think some have cloned drive to an SSD as well. Looks around and you should be able to find thread. It isn't on this site. The drive used is some automotive grade unit. OS used is QNX.
