I have a 2007 G35 4 door sedan 6 MT and i bought a stage 2 valeo clutch and i brought it into the repair and the guy says it won't fit.

Not sure who to believe. Can i only put an OEM in? thats what the guy at the garage is saying.

Which engine do you have, that will tell you which clutch you need. Check the VECI label in the engine compartment. Do you have a VQ35DE or a VQ35HR, don't always go off the model year from your vehicle registration. If that vehicle was a late seller it might actually be a 2006 model year that sat on the dealership lot for a long time and was officially sold as a 2007.
