What color is the headlight light

I had to replace my ballast and noticed my headlights are different colors when on. One is white/yellowish and the other one has a bluesh tint to it. Not sure if one of the bulbs is bad.

Replace both bulbs if you want a perfectly even color. Or else one of them is always gonna be slightly off since its used. It only costs a few bucks more.

The kelvin rating of the lamp is stamped on it as well, you probably have one 5800K which is the OEM spec (the yellow/white one) and one that's 6200K or more, anything above a 6000 kelvin starts to look blue.

I don't remember where I read it now but it indicated that a xenon bulb will be a different color for a short time (a few days to a week)

Cleric 4300k is stock and is best for output, but it doesn't match the "white" of 5000k bulbs that are out there.

Guess someone swapped mine for a different color, all G35's use the same?

When did Infiniti start using Xenon bulbs ? That's what is in '08 models, but not sure about earlier years. The '07 is probably Xenon as well since that was when they did the body change. Xenon bulbs are definitely a cool white/blue. Mine still are after 10 years.

Every HID is a xenon bulb.

My 05 had xenon bulbs.

You can get HIDs in any standard Kelvin rating so they can be any color from yellow-white-blue.

Yes, factory HID will almost always be 4300k because it had the best output. Some of the new LED is 5000k or higher.
