Nope, that's imperial units. It will be in metric. Guess what 7/8" converts roughly to in millimeters though? 22

Did their little measuring thing indicate 7/8-9 ? That means the diameter (distance across) is 7/8" and there's 9 threads per inch. Doesn't matter though as I'm 100% confident the threads are metric.

The lady didn't even use a tool. She just took me to the hardware section and was just matching up the hook with bolts they sell and connecting them to see if they threads matched lol. My mistake was that I didn't ask what units of measurement she was talking about...but if it's 22, let's hope it will fit! I should hear from Stillen today.

 

Some sizes will start to thread. I'm not doubting that she threaded your metric tow hook into an imperial threaded nut but if she kept going, it would stop threading cleanly.

So Stillen didn't feel comfortable selling me the bracket which is not a problem. I ended up purchasing a bracket from ebay and installing it today. Saved money and seems to be holding up alright. The only thing is that I would not use the end holes because it is not the sturdiest thing in the world. I was so happy it fit the tow hook.
