Crooked shift ****?

I changed my oem shift **** with an aftermarket one but I didn’t end up liking it so now I threw my oem one back on.After I threw on the oem one I noticed that my shift **** keeps coming loose in 10 mins of driving and I keep having to retightning it. Should I add thread locker and re tighten it?
