White possibly dried out window switches/seat belt latch
I'm just posting this here if anyone knows how I could tackle this small problem. In my '07 g35x, the window switch turns white whenever water hits it or you pass it over with a wet towel. Is there anyway to get it back to its original state? The white also appears on the seat belt latch. I have no clue if it's drying out and if it is then what should I put on it. Thanks to whomever replies.

Looks like hard water spots from getting rain on it as well as oxidation. Try cleaning it with some CLR to see if they go away.
Another option is to use Wipe New to apply an acryllic coating on top of it. Read the bottle and tape everything off, it's some powerful stuff that works amazing but you don't want to get it on anything except what you're trying to clean/protect.
Wipe New is an AMAZING product that's really good at restoring plastic pieces.
