Story time

Ok so sometime last month I was having coolant issues in my 07 g35x. Posted a thread here and we traced it down to a bad rad cap (even though I had just replaced it with a carquest one a few weeks prior). I ended up just buying another carquest cap. Worked fine until today.

Noticed the car temp gauge slowly creeping so I turned the heat on full blast (brutal) and went home. Popped the hood and it's revenge of the coolant reservoir bubbles lol.

Whats weird about this? The cap has been fine for a few weeks now for as far as I can remember. Did some digging and noticed the cap that I bought and the previous one was rated for 20psi. So this time I decided to get a 13 psi one and took it for spin and no more bubbles and the temp needle never moved.

So what the hell is going on? Was the 20psi wrong? Is the 13psi right? Is my car just as moody as my wife? Is the sky blue? Will the redskins win thy superbowl this year?

I don't even know anymore...

LOL.

Rent a radiator pressure tester and find out. How many miles do you have?
