Stock G35 speakers?

Purchasing a 2008 g35 sedan this week. I listen to a looooooot of music, specifically rap. Ending up blowing out the speakers in my last car because I turned the bass up too much. How are the stock speakers in the car? Looking to maybe purchase a sub for the trunk and maybe an amp later on. Can the speakers get loud and how is the bass? Thanks for any replies!

The problem you're going to run into looking for STOCK speakers is you're buying components more than a decade old. You should probably just buy some new ones through Crutchfield or something.

The Bose is trash. I'll bet Bose didn't even make any of the speakers and just paid for the name. The back of the head unit literally said "made by Clarion"

If you listen to music as much as it sounds like, you should completely overhaul the system. Head unit, component speakers in front, coaxial in rear, 4 channel amp for speakers and subs and another amp. I listen to music every time I drive. Something you do multiple times a day can't be considered wasting money. I switched everything to JL Audio years ago and love it. The difference is huge
But, if you're one to turn your bass up obnoxiously loud, it makes no sense to have expensive door speakers cause the bass will drown out the quality

OP didn't mention that the car he is looking at wilm have Bose. I had a base stereo/speaker set up which I swapped out for Pioneer speakers and added a 4ch amp and a 10" Kicker sub enclosure. Made a world of difference.

The stock Bose 10 speaker system with dash and rear mounted subs, is fairly good quality. You really appreciate it more and more over time, especially when listening to high quality source material. Having said that it is not the most powerful system out there. Instead the focus is on sound reproduction and clarity.

Your mom's boyfriend
I think the stock system is fine and I'm a DJ . Just watch the bass levels, and turn it down one or two tabs when it starts to distort.

The Bose system isn't trash.

That said, Bose may not be the best value out there. In building a stereo system, I think you can get better quality speakers for the same cost.
