Passenger Door Realignment
Passenger Door Realignment
Hi everyone, this is my first time on this forum & I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the correct spot or if its a stupid question, but I was wondering if anyone could help me with suggestions/what parts/what I need to do to realign my passenger side door after a friend of mine slammed it super hard causing it to sag a little. I couldn't find any clear and concise videos on YouTube so I made an account here! Any help would be much appreciated I'm trying to avoid taking it to the body shop. I know I have to remove the fender and was wondering if anything could be bent/should be replaced while I'm doing it.
Many thanks!

Do you have a coupe? or sedan, could not tell from your post. imo, slamming a door, ( even though it's very unnecessary) would not require any alignment, unless it was slammed with something in the way! does it leak air? or water now? was it straight before the offending person shut it hard? I could go out a >slam< any of my car's doors, and doing so would NOT cause an alignment issue! We are gonna need a little more info......
I have the sedan my bad I didn't specify. I'm not really sure if something was in the way when it was slammed or not (I don't really think so) but I attached a video showing the sagging. It doesn't leak air or water as far as I know more than the old seals already do.
Thanks for the response!
Edit: the seal just leaks a little air no water

Looks more like someone hung on the door and bent the hinge points. Look for bent/wrinkled metal at the hinge, check both sides, chassis and door.
Compare it to the other passenger door, they should be an almost perfect mirror of each other.
