I have a 2007 g35s sedan and have a bad bcm I have a parts car same year and model just not a sport I was wondering if the bcm would work if I get it programmed
This is the bad bcm
this is the good one
As long as the Part# is the same, the BCM will work. You only need to have the keys reprogrammed, i do that using a $350 xTool D7 scan tool. Punch in the 5 alphanumeric code from the BCM sticker and all done in few minutes.
If only someone at Nissan made a mistake on the placement of the BCM to lets say, the trunk shelf, then we all would have a better day. But, it's all business and car makers don't really make much money on the cars, they make money on parts and labor. I import parts for my 07 G35 sedan straight from Japan and most of them are cheaper than the 'OEM' parts sold in this country which is a shame.
My BCM decided to stop controlling the ACC relay and no radio, no nav, no ac controls. I had to supply it with IGN voltage to get those back and everything works except nothing in ACC mode, well, only for 2-3 seconds and then nothing. Red is Part#, Yellow is Key Fob code and Blue is self explanatory. My BCM with IGN wire supply to ACC wire which controls ACC relay. My BCM decided not to control ACC relay anymore..
The V36 are not bad cars, just have poor quality design..
