Misfire runs like poop
Misfire runs like poop
I have a 2008 g35 sedan that I love but two days ago I get in start it and let it warm up like every morning I go to pull out and can tell something doesn't sound right then I notice a major loss of power so I pull back in and park it. Put a code scanner on it and got back all these
p0300 random misfire
p1148 closed loop bank
p1168 closed loop fault detected
p0037 low heater control circuit
p0057 bank 1 sensor
p0031 bank 2 sensor
p0051 bank sensor
p0150 circuit bank 2 sensor
p0130 sensor
p0420 cat system below threshold
basically I don't know where to start or what to do any help woukd be amazing as it is my only car and I am a single dad who needs a vehicle to get my daughter to and from school and myself to work. I replaced the battery today hoping that would do something but it didn't. It's slightly modified dual cold air intakes by dc motor sports aftermarket exhaust and fully adjustable front and back suspension blah blah blah. So if anyone has any suggestions that would be wonderful thank you.

You are getting all those exhaust related codes because of the misfire. Once u fix the misfire all those other codes will clear as well. You just have to figure out which cylinder is misfiring. If it happened that instantly, is most likely an ignition coil that has gone bad. Dont keep the engine running too long with a misfire or you will fry your catalytic converter.
I got these off Amazon for my car. You can replace all the coils on your engine in about 2 to 3 hours. That way you dont have to worry about figuring out which cylinder is misfiring. Just be careful not to cross up the wiring for #4 and #6 coils….its happened to a lot of us.

Not sure about which one is best. I mean all it does it just make your spark plug fire. The one I linked above was the most bang for my buck I could find. My car runs fine with it.
