cru and strtsk8r - just glad i can give back to the great community that has given me so much. as ghey as it sounds i was really just trying to get all the info that everyone has been askin these for last few days.

jeff flowerday - tbh, i didn't even think to note that, it was so exciting and overwhelming at the same time. but according to mikeee2's pics it looks like it's in the same spot (above left driver's leg)

tk, what are the two buttons on the door? I'm diappointed to see they relocated the door handles... I really liked those interior grab bars but I guess the tiny ones will do. Pleased to see they relocated those horrible leg killing seat controls... maybe now I can wear my wallet on my right side again!

tk - thanks for the pix, especially the close up of the rice-paper styling on the aluminum trim. I was really curious how that turned out. Looks like it really softens up the look and feel.

In one of the car magazines it said the coupe would be released in early spring 2007. (Around April probably)

To whoever got inside, what did the aluminum trim that "simulated" japanese rice paper look and feel like?

Buttons on the door (in the alum trim)....
They are memory buttons 1 & 2 for seats, mirrors & steering wheel.

SWEET - RCA inputs for L, R & video. Thank god there is an ability to hook up an MP3 player. I would rather not use yet ANOTHER music delivery system (10 GB CF card or HDD). I'm tired of managing my music via CDs, iPod, cellphone, etc. I like being able to carry my iPod to work and back into the car and integrate it into my home stereo system. I'm wondering if a Mac Mini could fit in there.

As for those who want iPod integration, frankly, I think it's pointless because it would limit people from using other portable players and NOTHING will be as good as the iPod's own interface. Without stuff like the scroll wheel, it would take forever to navigate around as little as 5 GB of music.

So the RCA inputs are a good idea... but uh, how the hell are you going to fit any type of video delivery device in that tiny bin?

sweet my watermark works

jgfox - the presenter said the coupe would be an 08, so mid/late 07 sounds about right.

texasscout - it really does look like ricepaper even down to the fibers, i didnt feel it tho

intgr8r - not really sure what you mean by the floor hump

alterzgo - im not sure of the dimensions of a macmini, but i can tell you the the armrest is alot shorter than the current model, so it may be tight

Ugh I'm faced with a dilemma... get the 07 sedan or wait for the 08 coupe?

Where is your watermark?

I believe what Ian is referring to is the way the transmission hum bulges out, towrds the front of the passenger side.
