I spoke with my local dealer and they said the official release date is October 1 and they will have their first shipment available on that date.
They will be able to place orders beginning in July, but specific orders will not be in until November. The first shipment is a crap shoot, what ever the manufacturer sends out.
I am G35less right now, but am one of the first on the list for an 07. Can't wait. I miss my G.

I'm perplexed as to why Nov though - it's not like people are going to be chomping at the bit and they will create a buzz (like the new Mustang did when Ford held out in '04).
