Thats a great Idea, and Lexus IS350 doesnt have that and I know people there always wonder how they would start there car if the Intelligent Key Died on them

The "spare" key is usually intergrated into the intelligent Key-fob...or at least it is on the Lexus. I hope they come out with a nice-looking key-fob at least...I think it's a minor detail that can make a big difference in satisfaction. If you've ever seen a VW/ Audi key-fob...you'll know what I mean. It has a nice slow-moving fold-out key extension....almost seems bearing driven.
Funny thing is...I don't thinkt he Lexus IS has any keyholes on the doors...so I don't know how you would get in if your batt. died :O
