I was just wondering if there are any technical articles on this site? I ask because I am new and looking to get a G shortly. I am researching about mods and maintenance. I want to know what to look for when buying a G, what kind of maintenance is associated with these cars, what are some of the modifications for the car that both help the life of the parts or performance, etc. I am look through the forums at many many posts. The problem is if you are new to these cars then you wouldn't know what to look for. I know there is the TSB- Technical Bulletins & FAQ & DIY forums but this is different. Again, if you don't know what to look for in those forums then they wouldn't help as much.

I have seen other car website with technical articles. One I used to be a big part of (nevermind what kind) had sort of what I am thinking of here. Does G35driver.com have anything like this? Anyone here think of putting something like this together? You can have forum members who want to write up articles do it and then just submit them in. Then if someone did something that many people like, if they are willing they can write up and article and it can be put into that section.

Anyway, just a thought. So far I like this place and can't wait to get a G so I can contribute more.

After some more looking around, I guess you have the DIY section of the forums. This is really cool. I guess I was just thinking more in the line of somewhere to find HP ratings, stylistic FAQ's like what bumper came on what year, and so on. But overall I am liking the forums and they seems to be a lot of good info and a lot more info if you search around.
