Sorry to hear about all the **** you had to go through. In the long run, crooks like VRT never come out on top. They may make money in the short term by scamming people, but it always catches up with them. Nice car btw.

Speaking of VRT, i received not one, but THREE e-mail solicitations from them under "Verified Racing Technology".

That Mike A has some serious ***** to try and re-start his shop, especially since the acronym is still VRT

 

I think the e-mails are from Mike Knop the "new owner" not Mike Alvarez. But yea..still

 

yeah, im kinda in the same situation as i just got back from iraq and needed a car. bought a GTM car from G35cali and the rod blew couple of hours after the purchase. good thing it blew near san diego. its currently sitting at the shop for a full built motor and such. hope my car turns out as good as yours. in fact, how is your car running now?

 

I heard about your loss from Scott a week or so ago. At least you are getting a built motor for next to nothing, and one that won't be dropping dead like your original one. Maybe you should consider upping the boost and turbo, now that you are going to have a motor that is plenty capable of producing massive power.

 

Too bad Scott is banned still. I've tried to get him unbanned but to no avail. Anyone that wants him back should PM IB or the admins...maybe if we get enough support it will help.

You need to realize he was not banned because anyone was ripped off, or scammed. He is a good guy, and many people here vouch for him. I'm not starting anything, I was simply stating a fact.
